<p>The challenge with this question is &#8211; you are! People understand precisely just how valuable your contribution is and respond accordingly. Your income is a direct reflection of the value you are currently delivering to the market. I mean &#8211; hey &#8211; the universe isn&#8217;t in the habit of making mistakes!</p>
<p>So why is it that some of the people that you see in the marketplace as just noise are making more money than you? Could this theory hold true for them as well? Are they REALLY more valuable to the change in this world than you are.</p>
<p><strong>The answer is &#8211; simply &#8211; YES! They are!</strong></p>
<p>Ouch! And so I&#8217;m saying that even with YOUR commitment to excellence, YOUR study, YOUR skill that you&#8217;re being upstaged in the value arena by someone who simply promotes promotes promotes?</p>
<p><em>Yup!</em></p>
<p>Puh-lease tell me it ain&#8217;t true.</p>
<p><em>Sorry &#8211; it&#8217;s the honest truth!</em></p>
<p><strong>But HOW? HOW? HOW? HOW? can this be?</strong> The absolute heresy of this is just making your skin crawl I&#8217;m sure. The &#8216;content &#8211; purists&#8217; among us may raise their self-righteous heads and decry the absolute common-sense test that I&#8217;ve held here.</p>
<p>And they may search for reasons that their commitment to transformation has made them difficult to access. That &#8216;charlatans&#8217; and &#8217;snake-oil&#8217; marketers are misleading the market and breeding distrust which makes it more difficult for them to sell their &#8216;pure&#8217; stuff.</p>
<p><strong>Hogwash…</strong></p>
<p>OK &#8211; let&#8217;s just agree for a moment that there are some people who pay FAR closer attention to their content / contribution than others. THAT is obvious to even the most naive of us…</p>
<p>What&#8217;s tougher to swallow is just how little value some content-purists bring to their world and why…</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the answer AND how to change it in a jiffy. Love it or hate it &#8211; if you aren&#8217;t making the kind of money you need &#8211; you&#8217;ll never make it UNTIL you take the following two actions… GULP &#8211; Yep I said it!</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Numero UNO</strong></span>- Your value to the world is impacted by both the power of your message AND the people you successfully impact to invest in themselves and take action and put the message you teach into action in THEIR lives.</p>
<p>Developing a communication strategy to reach your prospects and bring them to a decision is your responsibility &#8211; not the responsibility of your prospects. So if you&#8217;ve got something with a value contribution of 100 and you&#8217;re getting ONE person a month to use it &#8211; your impact to the world is far less than someone with a service that has a value contribution of 2 and is getting it into use by thousands. Nuf said…</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Numero DOS</strong></span>- (and a HUGE dose this one is to swallow)</p>
<p>You know yourself better than ANYONE else in the universe. If you&#8217;re not investing in YOURSELF regularly &#8211; then you have determined just how worthless you really are!</p>
<p>Your prospects cannot be expected to invest in you when you&#8217;ve made the determination to try to avoid investing in yourself!</p>
<p>I had several communications this past week with HUGE players in industry and each of us had randomly invested tens of thousands of dollars into our own professional development. And at a time when we were arguably doing so well &#8211; we were each scrambling to do anything possible to do even better.</p>
<p>Meanwhile &#8211; I constantly hear feedback from those who &#8216;just aren&#8217;t consistently making it&#8217; telling me that they&#8217;re waiting to invest in themselves until they can make some money.</p>
<p>Kind of like waiting to invest and plant a tree until some random fruit just shows up so that you can eat for free and use the seeds…</p>
<p>Oooops!</p>
<p>It is really sad that with so many contribution &#8216;gifts&#8217; available in the world that the stewards of those gifts would hold them hostage to their small thinking in the areas of taking responsibility for who invests with them AND in investing in their ongoing growth to set a precedent for excellence for their prospects to follow.</p>
<p>And… it happens all the time.</p>
<p>So &#8211; the next time you see a competitor with an &#8216;inferior contribution&#8217; blowing past you in the area of income (and thus value!)…</p>
<p>Ask yourself how YOU can change it! Find a mentor that can help you develop a communication formula that is worthy of that great contribution you offer.  And who can help you get your gift in front of as many people as possible and change the value formula for what you offer. It IS within you to do this…</p>
<p>The question is will you?</p>

Without being personally grounded, we tend to drift in the direction of our short-term attraction rather than in the direction of our ultimate destination.</p>
<p>Think of driving down the highway. You KNOW that you are en route to your destination. But let a shiny car pull alongside and &#8211; if you stare at it long enough &#8211; you&#8217;ll start drifting into the path of what you&#8217;re staring at until you &#8216;merge into&#8217; the car beside you (explain that to your insurance agent).</p>
<p>The challenge within a body of marketers is that there are SO MANY shiny cars riding alongside us! I am SO IMPRESSED many times by certain practices I see implemented by my peers, my mentors, my competitors and especially my students!</p>
<h3>The Daily Decision&#8230;</h3>
<p>The &#8216;balancing act&#8217; for me is to daily determine whether a temptation to emulate their practices comes from my commitment to getting my own calling done or whether I&#8217;m being drawn to &#8216;merge&#8217; into a momentary attraction!</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll bet you find yourself in the very same scenario. AND &#8211; the more attractive your market &#8211; the greater the temptation to stare at others&#8217; work rather than to find your own perfect path.</p>
<p>Without a stated destination, this task becomes even more difficult. And when you&#8217;re following someone who&#8217;s following someone who&#8217;s… then what IS the direction or the destination… And the circle of following shiny chariots begins.</p>
<h3>What does that mean for ME?</h3>
<p>SO &#8211; what do I stand for? What can I be held accountable to? What am I willing to pursue without apology and abandon without regret? Those questions are great for you to ask and answer. I&#8217;ll try to lead with my own human quest to answer…</p>
<p>I am NOT a natural marketer! I don&#8217;t enjoy running huge campaigns to reach people with the transformation that I represent. The reason I invented the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.BigTicketBlueprint.com">Big Ticket Blueprint</a> was to bring about a LARGE number of committed people making massive changes in their work without all the hooplah!</p>
<p>I DO have an uncanny calling to help people realize their highest value and communicate that in a way to both a HUGE market and then to dial it in for ANY specific service such that my clients raise their fees by astronomical amounts and still feel connected to serving!</p>
<p>I prefer small intimate teachings to large fawning audiences. The reason that my fees are high has nothing to do with my desire to profit and everything in the knowledge that when people invest significantly &#8211; they fare MUCH MUCH better in their OWN pursuits.</p>
<p>I LOVE the people that are my clients and am disappointed when people give up on themselves. I am committed to the SIMPLICITY of success and will always mentor from a point of making something SIMPLE so that it can bring success as quickly as possible rather than making it COMPLICATED so I can impress someone with my &#8216;grasp&#8217;.</p>
<p>I believe that tenacity is more important than any other trait and realize that if I taught 10% of the INFORMATION I shared and imparted tenacity that the result to my clients would be far greater than if I taught 500% of the information and failed to have someone take that imperfect action.</p>
<p>I am heartbroken when I have a vision for/with someone that isn&#8217;t fulfilled because of their lack of faith in themselves because I see the lives that COULD have been touched had they only stayed the course.</p>
<p>I believe in the BEAUTY that resides in EVERYONE I see and realize that because source emanates from our core &#8211; EVERYONE is amazing on the inside. Any issues that someone demonstrates result from layers of protection from fear and hurt clouding the beauty that begs to shine!</p>
<p>I believe in YOUR beauty. I was called to mentor some of you and to lead you to a level that you&#8217;ve not yet seen in your progression.</p>
<h3>Going Forward&#8230;</h3>
<p>I choose NOT to dilute my future offerings with sharing a &#8216;piled-high&#8217;, &#8216;mixed-bag&#8217; of marketing tricks that I can shine up and make to be enticing. However, I vow to you that if you have the slightest twinge of intuition that working with me would be good &#8211; that I will make our partnership the least conventional, most unique and simultaneously THE most impacting experience that you&#8217;ve held to date.</p>
<p>AND &#8211; every day you wait to excel at attracting and converting clients to benefit from your mission puts that very mission in jeopardy! If you need to erase the impotence of no clients and begin to see people flock to pay you what you&#8217;re worth &#8211; then we&#8217;ve got work to do!</p>

<p>ANYHOO&#8230;</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve just been wondering how in God&#8217;s Creation can the average person begin a business modeling a system that comes out with a new product every month or so? Then has it available from ONE DAY to a couple weeks &#8211; then BAM!, it&#8217;s off the market for good!</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a question for you, dear reader? Do YOU have what it takes to constantly come up with products like that? Can you survive on the one-day to two-week bursts that come from having a HUGE list and tons of ravenous affiliates just waiting to promote anything you do?</p>
<p>Something to think about &#8211; how are you going to model TACTICS that are being implemented in a STRATEGY that you can&#8217;t successfully pull off? NOW?</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been pretty quiet about this fact for some time &#8211; but I&#8217;ve just looked back at my core business since 2006 and said &#8220;Enough, already&#8221;.</p>
<p><strong>Here&#8217;s where this &#8220;Epiphany&#8221; struck me&#8230;.</strong></p>
<p>In my private consulting with my Diamond Mastermind clients &#8211; the PRIMARY advice I&#8217;ve given them so far this year was SIMPLIFY and cut out the complex &#8220;new product centric&#8221; model that is SO SO seductive -yet rarely pays off just like it was supposed to.</p>
<p>If this is SO timely for them &#8211; why wouldn&#8217;t it be for YOU too?</p>
<p>Heck &#8211; many people can&#8217;t even stay with a complex system long enough to get all the parts moving to create the ONE outcome that builds a business (CONSISTENT CASH FLOW)!</p>
<p>Not a flash of income from each new shiny piece of info that you learn, but a Strategy that will put thousands of dollars PER CLIENT in your pocket OVER and OVER for YEARS&#8230; (without all the last-minute pushes and the retirements and once-in a lifetime opportunity)</p>
<p>After all, I&#8217;m not looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I&#8217;m looking for something that COULD be a Lifetime Opportunity!</p>
<p>I like what I do &#8211; don&#8217;t want to change it next week just because I had to use some scarcity in my copy!</p>
<p><strong>What are you looking for?</strong></p>
<p>I guess you can tell with a post like this that I&#8217;m about to reveal just how I&#8217;ve consistently taught clients for the last four years this precise information! But &#8211; should YOU operate that way?</p>
<h4>Are you operating your Mentorship with a &#8216;handicap&#8217;?</h4>
<p>Most likely &#8211; YES!</p>
<p>Mentorships are designed to impart your encouragement and offer your vision to your clients.</p>
<p>What happens when you allow your clients to design a strategy where you&#8217;re expected to fulfill their goals &#8211; but by operating in the constraints of their limited vision!</p>
<p>Simply by accepting Money, you do NOT relinquish your right to manage the Mentoring Process. You do not become your clients&#8217; Servant when you begin to Serve as their Mentor!</p>
<p>It is one of the PRIMARY deliverables of a Mentor to offer a more comprehensive vision about how to move beyond an obstacle that is facing your clients. Yet many Mentors attempt to Solve the Problems their clients bring within the limited view of their clients.</p>
<h4>It&#8217;s time to Wake up!</h4>
<p>The primary challenge facing your client is NOT that they don&#8217;t have the answers to the questions they&#8217;re asking &#8211; it&#8217;s that they are asking the WRONG questions! It is YOUR duty as a person of superior vision to not subject yourself to simply responding to the limited vision questions that your clients are asking.</p>
<p>If you feel that you&#8217;re serving your clients by giving them the best answers to the questions they ask, you&#8217;re missing the KEY ingredient of Mentorship &#8211; Superior VISION! The Vision to know when an inferior question is limiting the perfect outcome.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a quick LITMUS TEST for you. If you are simply resolving your clients&#8217; questions &#8211; then you are not a Mentor at all, but rather a Solutions Vendor.</p>
<h4>Hmmm. Let&#8217;s break that down.</h4>
<p>The next time your client asks you for a way OVER the trees in their lives (when they could just get around them), UNDER the boulders in their path (when they could just step over them), AROUND the waterfalls (when they could just walk through them) &#8211; STOP and ASK…</p>
<p>Do I REALLY choose to let my clients&#8217; DESIRE to control the way things should be done blind my vision for the MUCH SIMPLER process that is OBVIOUS to me (with my superior vision in this area?)</p>
<p>When your clients ask for a delivery format that you KNOW will not work &#8211; do you cave or do you stand for success?</p>
<p>When your client wants you to acknowledge a limiting belief that you KNOW is the primary obstacle in their way &#8211; do you shine the mirror or search for a way to solve the problem while &#8216;handicapped&#8217;.</p>
<p>When a PROSPECTIVE client demands services that you KNOW are going to DELAY or even PREVENT the transformation they need &#8211; do you take a stand for transformation or for what is weakly positioned as &#8220;Superior Customer Service&#8221;.</p>
<p>Serving the client as a MENTOR means offering your vision and taking a stand for the process that you know will bring the results. Then embracing those clients who are willing to join you in that process and allowing those who are still searching for ways OVER trees and UNDER boulders to search elsewhere. These clients are making life&#8217;s tasks nearly impossible just so they can be VALIDATED in their struggle. You can stand as a possibility for them to release that need. Or allow them to choose to continue to be reminded of how unfair the struggle is…</p>
<p>Remember guys &#8211; The SIMPLE LIFE is successful. And it&#8217;s WAY more fun than playing small!</p>
<p>So get out there and MENTOR people with all your heart. Don&#8217;t overcomplicate things. Your gift is awesome &#8211; but it&#8217;s not that difficult for people to have success. Make it easy for people and they&#8217;ll still pay you. Don&#8217;t make it hard just to prove your OWN value. Don&#8217;t get enrolled in the insanity.</p>
<p>And above all else &#8211; HAVE FUN! At the end of the day &#8211; THAT&#8217;S what people are investing in Mentors for &#8211; is to show them how to have FUN for the rest of their life and still get ALL the stuff done that life presents.</p>

So that on THIS day as you&#8217;re celebrating the impact of LOVE in your business and your life, you&#8217;ll realize the following.</p>

<li>The degree at which you choose to LOVE your business will determine how your business transitions from your master to your loving servant.</li>
<li>The degree to which you LOVE your mission will determine your IMPACT in lifting this universe higher and becoming a force for good in YOUR own world &#8211; in YOUR own way</li>

I have the GREAT fortune to work intimately with a lot of people and to interact with them directly. Over the last few years, I&#8217;ve observed one key misdirection about source that cripples anyone who subscribes to it!</p>

AND &#8211; at the same time, they are consistently pursuing mentorship as aggressively as they are seeking clients/followers. They realize the importance of searching for input and of investing in themselves as a key ingredient in their quest for serving &#8216;downstream&#8217;.</p>
<h3>This is being in flow!</h3>
<p>I consistently run into another group of people who come to me incredibly frustrated. Without question, they have a HUGE skill, gift or potential for contribution!</p>
<p>However, their quest for connection with people ONLY seeks to connect downstream in the human flow of energy. They claim to be sourced upstream from some Divine connection.</p>
<p>OOOOOOOOOPS!</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s where that incredibly flawed paradigm leaves them empty, embarrassed, confused and wondering what the heck!</p>
<p>There&#8217;s nothing wrong with the belief system that your greatest gifts come directly from source. No need for human mentorship &#8211; DIVINE SOURCE is enough!</p>
<h3>HOWEVER. Yes How? Ever!</h3>
<p>If you want to energetically promote the belief that you have a GIFT that people should be attracted to and value &#8211; can&#8217;t you see the absolute necessity of finding the beauty of a mentor (or two or three) for yourself? For setting the precedent that SOURCE while completely capable of reaching us directly &#8211; has divinely put in a powerful network of support available through our fellow HUMANS to draw us higher as we mentor others?</p>
<p>In other words. To consistently seek mentors then not offer your service to the world creates blocks and disrupts your natural flow of service energy. AND &#8211; to presume that you can seek clients with a greater passion than you seek your own mentors creates a void of substance and spirit that causes you to simultaneously be unable to attract clients and completely unaware of the reason.</p>
<p>The amount of information you have accessible to share &#8211; the amount of potential contribution you possess withers to an anemic whisper when you reject the divine order of FLOW. To think that our contribution is complete from Source disregards the greatest gift we&#8217;ve been offered BY source &#8211; the opportunity to invest in ourselves and learn life&#8217;s lessons through others!</p>
<h3><strong>If you choose to LEAD!</strong></h3>
<p>News Flash &#8211; it&#8217;s irresponsible to think you can build a mentoring/coaching business without having your own mentorship -then grow it to the point that you can afford mentors. In this quest, you&#8217;re attempting to reap the fruits of a spiritual law of Value then harvest the seeds from that fruit to plant the &#8230;. Well, I think you see how incredibly unlikely this is &#8211; yet&#8230;</p>
<p>Many a wheel is spinning rapidly in this frustrating quest. Trying to attract others to invest in them when they have a absolute commitment not to invest in themselves! No one knows you like you! And if you tell the universe you&#8217;re not worth investing in &#8211; imagine what she whispers to your prospective clients!</p>
<p>My goal for you in 2010 is to make a conscious commitment in THIS MOMENT to seek out mentors in the areas that you are choosing to advance. Do not seek to do it alone.</p>
<p>Then discover your own GIFT and share your excellence with abandon. Learn the value of allowing the fullness that you walk in spill over to your potential clients and how to have them invest in themselves through you.</p>
<p>You want your Cash Flow to increase? Create a scenario where your Value Flow maximizes and I assure you your Cash Flow will follow! You want abundance in 2010? Initiate the flow in every direction and watch the TRUTH of Source (which is FLOW) manifest in YOU!</p>

<p>You should read this post <strong>very carefully</strong> because it  reflects a level of transparency that many of you have been requesting in marketing. And, as a subscriber to my mailing list and blog posts, it&#8217;s a precedent I intend to follow in my communications&#8217; with you.</p>
<p>In other words, whether the offer in this message makes sense or not &#8211; that&#8217;s not really relevant. <p>The reason that I exist in the world professionally is to move people to play a FAR bigger game than they have been playing. This transformation results from a combination of factors.</p>
<p>First, there is obviously the information part. The RAPID selling process, <a target="_blank" href="http://www.BigTicketBlueprint.com">Big Ticket Blueprint</a> and Prospect Seduction Blueprint have all been used to transform the lives of so many people and to give them tools to see massive growth in their professional development!</p>
<p>But primarily there is the spiritual component. I stand for my clients and see their greatness until they have the courage to do it for themselves. Then I see them at an entirely new level.</p>
<p>In short &#8211; I love them past their fears and allow the GREATNESS that they already possess to begin to take action and &#8217;show up&#8217;.</p>
<p>I SHOULD (per marketing best practices) begin to help you see the &#8216;Gap&#8217; in your own experience here in this letter. How playing small has impacted you and left you busy but without focus and DEFINITELY with far fewer measurable results than you had planned on in your business. The reality is &#8211; I&#8217;m looking for such a select group of people to mentor in this post that the person with their head in the sand about their current scenario wouldn&#8217;t be a great fit anyway.</p>
<p>I mean &#8211; you know if you&#8217;re exceeding your monthly cash-flow goals or not, right? And you&#8217;re either aware or not that getting more information isn&#8217;t going to <strong>magically</strong> change things? So there&#8217;s really no need for me to point out the obvious.</p>

<li>Which is: &#8211; you&#8217;re either prospering just fine or you&#8217;re not.</li>
<li>And if you aren&#8217;t &#8211; you&#8217;re either going to do something about it or you&#8217;re not.</li>
<li>And if you&#8217;re gonna do something about it &#8211; this is either a fit or not&#8230; (I LOVE simplicity!)</li>

<p>We talked about this practice of simplicity at an AMAZING event in Las Vegas last week where we helped many clients grow to a new level and begin to grasp how amazing they were. <p>A little over a year ago &#8211; I coined the term &#8216;Intellectual Voyeurism&#8217; to reflect that much of our representation of ourselves to our clients was becoming more &#8216;consumption-based&#8217; than &#8216;promotion-based&#8217;.</p>
<p>What do I mean by that?</p>
<p>Before facebook, twitter and the like, a marketer pretty much managed the flow of information to his prospect. As someone visited a website, they registered for an autoresponder which portioned out &#8211; in carefully measured and timed releases &#8211; access to the &#8216;expert information&#8217;.</p>
<p><strong>Era of &#8216;Managed Information Flow&#8217;</strong></p>
<p>This was the Era of &#8216;Managed Infomation&#8217;. Experts showed their Prospects what they chose to when they chose to and literally crafted the tight little path to a decision.</p>
<p>People went to a &#8220;Squeeze Page&#8221; (why that name is attractive still eludes me!) which then determined exactly how the &#8216;expert&#8217; was going to &#8217;show his hand&#8217; and dole out just enough information to create the desire necessary for them to buy.</p>
<p>Enter Social Media… in 2007-2008, facebook was a site that represented the wild frontier for marketers. For some who actually made money as a result of connecting to prospects via facebook (twitter soon followed), the seduction process changed drastically.</p>
<p>No longer could you control the order and the process of flow of information to your prospects. Now, your postings became part of the &#8216;information collective&#8217; and someone could land on ANY piece of prospect seduction that you had available at ANY time and consume as much or little of your &#8217;stuff&#8217; as possible.</p>
<p><strong>Era of Selective Transparency</strong></p>
<p>This represented the migration of Prospect Seduction from the Era of &#8216;Managed Information&#8217; to  a new Era of &#8216;Selective Transparency&#8217;. The challenge was that people were now observing all the seduction elements we were putting online (testimonials &#8211; offers &#8211; teleseminar event invitations &#8211; etc) without seeing them in any specific order BUT…</p>
<p>Experts were able to manage what passed in front of the &#8216;windows&#8217; into their online world. In other words &#8211; the FLOW couldn&#8217;t be managed, but we were able to at LEAST control what was being voyeured and represent ourselves in a manner that was flattering.</p>
<p>Evolution has a way of speeding up even the degree of change!</p>
<p>And with less than 18 months of being the paradigm for representing your message online, the Era of &#8216;Selective Transparency&#8217; is already seeing a new challenge from within the market!</p>
<p>Both availability of information and the &#8216;meshing&#8217; of data input has begun to shift a new era into the forefront.</p>
<p>The first technological enablers of this new shift are the abilitis to &#8216;tweet&#8217; about someone else&#8217;s services, quotes, and transformation offerings. The ubiquity of &#8216;tagging&#8217; enables not only people to create and submit information about you &#8211; but even to do it in such a way such that ALL of your followers can see it as if you posted it yourself!</p>
<p>This can have AMAZING leveraged benefits and can present challenges as well. As with any Era in marketing, being prepared to capitalize on the amazing benefits this new Era brings and not be blindsided by the challenges that accompany it.</p>
<p>Social Media moved the bar from Selectively Managing Information FLOW to having your entire composition of contribution available on demand to peruse and yes &#8211; even Voyeur your body of work and your presentation of yourself online. In much the same way, the increased INTERACTION within Social Media has not only expanded the FLOW of Information about you, but the Sourcing as well.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re lucky &#8211; you have ceased to be the primary source of your own work within the &#8217;space&#8217; of market interaction. Forum posts, blog comments, facebook posts, comments and the like made by your clients collectively make up more of this online repository of who you are as your own directly posted contributions.</p>
<p><strong>Era of the Market Mirror</strong></p>
<p>We&#8217;ve now entered the Era of the Market Mirror. Consistently, how we&#8217;re viewed in the eyes of our collective market is available for review to anyone who searches us or watches our personal &#8216;feeds&#8217;. The mirrors of a dozen, a hundred, a thousand admirers, frustrated followers, questioning searchers have become a cacophony of intellectual &#8216;noise&#8217; that all references us!</p>
<p>Our job as we shift into this new Era is to create information that&#8217;s not only transformative, digestible and actionable. But also that is easy to mirror and is clear when represented by third parties. Just like those trying to hold to the carefully managed distribution of the &#8216;Squeeze and Respond&#8217; paradigm of the Era of &#8220;Managed Information&#8217; found themselves blindsided when Social Media began this new Era can be a bit ruthless unless we find a way to shape the information coming from the divergent sources now referencing us.</p>
<p>Our new responsibility as transformation artists in this new era is to provide our &#8217;stuff&#8217; in such a way that we literally COMPEL the market to represent and to &#8216;mirror&#8217; our work in a massively leveraged fashion through each of THEIR universes… And to do it in a way that speaks to their followers in a way that honors both their voice and our message!</p>

<p>Whoa, Nelly &#8211; if you ever thought my blog posts were direct before, this one&#8217;s gonna take things to a whole &#8216;nuther level!</p>
<p>I was in Vegas last weekend checking out the venue for my event Love your Clients, Love your Business, Love your Life! (stay tuned). While there, I attended Ali Brown&#8217;s &#8216;Shine&#8217; (amazing job Ali!) and stopped by Armand Morin&#8217;s BIG Seminar.</p>
<p>(The BIG seminar was my entree into this world so I&#8217;m indebted to Armand and team for putting on an event LONG ago that let me see the possibilities of this amazing and wonderful life!)</p>
<p>Anyway (fasten your seatbelts)&#8230;</p>
<p>Some &#8216;marketer&#8217; overheard me talking to a friend about my upcoming event and asked about it. Since I&#8217;m not rolling it out yet &#8211; I was VERY short on details…</p>
<p>Then &#8220;IT&#8221; came out!</p>
<p><em><strong>&#8220;You don&#8217;t know who I am do you?&#8221;,</strong></em> he asked?</p>
<p>&#8220;Nope&#8221; &#8211; I replied</p>
<p>&#8220;I make over $100 million a year online&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Cool&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;And I work with (insert names of 5 of the industry&#8217;s top speakers). Do you work with THEM or with people like &#8220;those in the room&#8221;?</p>
<p>&#8220;Dude, it&#8217;s been an HONOR to meet you&#8221; &#8211; and I walked away. This was CLEARLY not how I measure success!</p>
<p><strong>Thinking back, my dad always told me as I left the house as a teen &#8220;Remember who you are&#8221;.  And last weekend &#8211; I did!<br />
</strong></p>
<p>The notion that someone could &#8220;be&#8221; their income or the gurus they hang with just floored me &#8211; and begged the question… &#8220;Well, Kevin &#8211; then who are YOU?&#8221;</p>
<p>So &#8211; for those of you who don&#8217;t know who &#8220;I AM&#8221; &#8211; I just want to go on record.</p>
<p><strong>Who IS this Kevin Nations guy you&#8217;re reading about?</strong></p>
<p>I LOVE to teach and mentor people to incredible success. That being said…</p>
<p>I reject the hierarchy of GURU status. I stand as an agent of change against the premise that you must consistently be co-dependent on someone and follow their growth up a ladder.</p>
<p>I firmly believe in a natural or divine order vs. a hierarchical order and am HONORED when my clients transcend my success in a certain area. I am here for a PURPOSE and seek to fulfill that purpose more so than to create a platform through intelligence, positioning and/or manipulation.</p>
<p>I am the world&#8217;s PRINCIPLE agent of change when it comes to helping heart-centered leaders develop and communicate their MAXIMUM value. There is no one who is a close second in this area.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t align with hierarchy-based guru leadership even in situations where I would be at the pinnacle of that hierarchy!</p>
<p>And my clients are empowered to grow to their HIGHEST place in the world &#8211; not to some place perennially behind me as I fantasize about &#8216;blazing their trail&#8217; forever.</p>
<p><strong>My mission</strong></p>
<p>With all the love I can muster, a great part of my current mission is to abolish the follow-the-guru mindset that is causing a TON of otherwise bright people who begin to follow said  &#8216;marketing expert&#8217; to give up ALL of their power. And to do things that conflict with their own values all because &#8220;someone told them to&#8221;.</p>
<p>So &#8211; even as an ardent admirer of the AMAZING feats that the marketing greats have accomplished, my greatest mission in the world is not served by hobnobbing with them on their latest ventures and being a cog in the wheel of massive significance!</p>
<p>My mission is recruiting, empowering and then sending out people who may not yet know how powerful they are. But who &#8211; once they do &#8211; are causing a collective impact on our universe that is far more transformative than any single personality can take credit for!</p>
<p><strong>How can we play together?</strong></p>
<p>If you&#8217;re brave enough to take on that charge, I was sent here to serve you to do that in a way that transcends your wildest imagination.</p>
<p>&#8220;They&#8221; may never know who we are… But the &#8220;other people&#8221; who are crying out to be empowered &#8211; to be served &#8211; to have their lives changed will NEVER forget who we are to them.</p>
<p>I am SO not here to collect admirers who experience success second-hand just by knowing me. I&#8217;ve been sent here to empower YOU to have your own success in a way you&#8217;ve NEVER even imagined.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re looking for another guru to follow and admire, I&#8217;m not your guy. If you&#8217;re ready to have someone show YOU just how great YOU are and how to find and communicate your value so that you can truly rise up into the you that was destined from the beginning of time. I was sent to this planet expressly for that purpose!</p>
<p>If you EVER choose to follow any of the teachings I&#8217;ve been gifted to share, don&#8217;t follow them because I am so great, but because of your OWN greatness that they can lead you further into. YOU have a much bigger place in this world than being a &#8216;follower&#8217; of me &#8211; and I stand prepared to celebrate your success with fun and abandon…</p>
<p>Even this blog exists not for MY promotion but to help serve you growing into YOUR highest gift to this world.</p>
<p>So &#8211; I&#8217;m grateful for the reminder to look at who I am, no matter how it was delivered. And I challenge you to look into the mirrors and see how awesome YOU are as well!</p>
<p>It may be a bit quirky but I&#8217;m dang proud to be me … and even more grateful to have the honor to be serving/knowing you!</p>
