They're trying to sell me something, or get me to do something. Even if what they're trying to get me to do is sign up for something free, it still feels as though they want something FROM me. Your email was pure GIVING. And that is so unusual these days. Bravo to you for giving so freely. Even knowing that I received this because it went out to your list and not because you knew anything about me personally, it meant a lot. I have been very isolated since my husband walked out on me last year, and between that whole mess, my longtime suicidal depression, and my financial struggles (only making four figures annually despite working full-time on my business), I haven't been feeling very good about myself or about my contributions to the world. I don't have a positive thinking habit, but I'm trying to change that. I know I'm very good at what I do (I'm an artist), and I hope that after 15 years in business, I am on the verge of turning that into a decent living. I have been listening to a ton of free teleseminars and reading a lot of stuff about law of attraction, shifting perspective, business techniques, and so on, and I hope that my life transformation is just around the corner. Thank you for being the first person to say something nice to me about myself in a week.
