Kevin, This is an Incredible POST. Thanks for renewed energy and focus. I shared many of your same points with my clients. Thank you for the reminder that playing small doesn’t serve our world.

I have a dual market. Primarily it is teen female athletes who will benefit from Tigress Teens, but it is the moms in particular who must relish and accept my program because they will ultimately be sponsoring (paying) for my program. And as can be seen by my wording, my REAL biggest obstacle is my belief that service is given, people don’t pay for service. Yet, I think that is a huge part of the global shift- so my real question is how do I shift my thinking to be able to expect and accept payment for my services?

I am thrilled to be able to step up to the plate. Four years ago I was called to work with you, but I was not able to bring myself to the plate- I know now why obstacles got in the way- I did not have my true calling before me. It was still muddled and fuddled. But from working with Suzanne Falter-Barns I was able to find my deepest and truest calling.
Now it’s how to get this calling to be heard by those I serve.
And from this straight and clear message I believe I am on the right path.
Thanks for the inspiration and giving me the power of the shift.-
    Grace

    Kevin,
Another great post – and with you usual brand of authenticity :-)
What you’re teaching is sooo true!
It is often tempting for us in the online sphere to get sucked into programme after programme, thinking each time that this one will be ‘the answer’
Whilst we do all need to master sound marketing principles and apply them in our business, being swept into others’ slipstream can never be sustainable.
After all, we can never DO, WHO we aren’t!

Thanks again for reminding us of that

  5. Kevin-
Thank you for authenticity and commitment to who YOU are
and who WE are. You message was exactly what I needed to hear
at this time. Those “shiny, grabby” hooks can be such a distraction
for me-what a practice to stay focused on the destination, cultivate
patience while we are building and growing both our businesses and stay on course with our purpose and mission! I appreciate your mentorship and love,
    Rita

    Kevin!

Every time I read a post from you, I’m re-inspired to look at where I am and who I choose to be in the world and ask myself where can I step it up? I so love that what you offer is simple, pure and effective.

What a powerful, impactful mentor you have been and continue to be for me!

    Much love to you,
    Eva!

Thanks so much for this, Kevin – you’re a man after my own heart and it’s good to spend some e-time with a likeminded, and authenticity-led, person.

I’ll be on that call – can’t wait!

    With love,

    Jools xx

Thanks for your post Kevin. I read often and it is always inspiring. Today particularly as I am too often drawn to comparing myself to how others are doing things. The difference between modelling and authenticity is always required.
You help to bring clarity to that.
    Thank you.

    Kevin,

As always, your words are clear and inspirational.

The evolution of my work and my life since we met have been phenomenal. These days, I have found myself having to “shut out the noise” of every Tom, Jane, and Henrietta with a message and an answer and a workshop bombarding my email. I have my answers inside and need to listen and stay focused on my mission of helping authors.

Your information and wisdom are always welcome in my world. Thanks for sharing so deeply with those who are here to receive it.

    Kevin –

As usual, you offer really clear thinking that calls me to look around, take stock, and make sure I am being the BIGGest version of who I am and want to be.

What I love about your teaching is that it is absolutely clear and consistent.

You continue to offer deeper distinctions – always on the same message. You totally know who you are, what you offer, and what you bring people to in the world. What a great model.

I for one am VERY thankful for your clarity and teachings. I’ll be getting on another strategy session here in a few minutes, refining my skills and staying in the energy of service, as I draw in the exact people who are meant to work with me. You have dreamed up a system and mindset that rocks the house.

    Thank you.

I Love the clarity Kevin!! Choices and Decisions are very very powerful. You are one who has the clarity and the discernment to know when to act and when to be still – Jaguar Medicine indeed! The Queen of the Jungle always knows where the energy lies – and is quite content to let the other creatures run around and expend their energy while she sits and waits for the exact right moment to do what she does best. Impact is certainly felt when she does decide to make her move because all the power that she has been storing is concentrated, focused and applied to the task at hand. Consolidating our power by being true to our own calling is one of the most courageous acts that we can engage in. Am so glad that you are a part of my own personal journey and have been so instrumental in the acquisition of even greater clarity about what is truly sacred to me and my work – when I am in alignment with that, I can’t help but serve those I am here to serve at the highest levels of impeccability and intent. Shine on Brother Star!

Love Lights Us!! Peace is in you….

    Hi Kevin,

Very thought provoking post especially re the accountability aspects. As a new comer to the internet marketing arena I want to create a significant and totally open level of accountability with my readers. My issue is that even though I am telling the truth, because of my inexperience in the real world of internet marketing, I am not sure if the accountability I have placed out in the public arena, will be achieved. Of course I will do everything in my power to achieve my publicly stated goals as long as achieving them does not over-ride my burning desire to always be helpful and of vale to my readers.
So if and when the time arrives and my goals are not met, I guess my credibility is tainted…but at least my belief system has not been compromised. Have you ever had to face that situation where you have openly stated what you will achieve and face the possibility of failing to reach your goals? For me I will simply not hide, tell exactly what I learned from the exercise and move on with my next business challenge.

      Hi Peter,

I have some thoughts for you.

People are attracted to others that set big goals and move towards them. Not achieving those goals should never be the standard (then your goals are unrealistic versus big). But if you make most of them and fall short on some of them, but with progress then I believe people will still be attracted to that.

The slippery slope comes into play when someone never achieves their goals. Either you’re setting them too big, or you’re not committed and willing to follow through on your commitments. That’s the story people normally make up in their minds when this happens – you were not fully committed so why should I listen to you?

Setting big goals just for the sake of setting big goals is not good for anyone. Stretching yourself however is always good.

It’s a balancing act, especially when you do it publicly.

I am very attracted to someone that honors their word and follows through on their commitments! This is one big key to leadership!

However, the fact that you’re setting goals, posting them publicly and working towards them sets you apart from 95% of the people in the world. So, you do earn points for that :)

Great post Kevin! I enjoyed your thoughts.
