It’s amazing how rarely we acknowledge ourselves and the amazing spirit that is within others.
The following email generated TONS of responses when I sent it out. It’s just as applicable to you… today.

I want to take a moment today with you and acknowledge how
amazingly powerful you are.
How you’ve been gifted with excellence and how the value you
bring to the universe is SO transformative! Can you fathom
what the world would be WITHOUT the contribution you’ve made?
And – as we head into this weekend giving you time to reflect, I
want to support you as you challenge yourself:
* Are you REALLY playing your ‘A’ game? With all you’ve done is
there more you could be bringing – more you could be sharing.

Kevin,
When I received and read your original email I was so grateful to you for sending it. To be honest I can’t remember the last time (or even the first time, other than your email!) that I have received an email like yours that didn’t want anything FROM me.
99% of the emails in my in box WANT something FROM me. They’re trying to sell me something, or get me to do something. Even if what they’re trying to get me to do is sign up for something free, it still feels as though they want something FROM me.
Your email was pure GIVING. And that is so unusual these days.
Bravo to you for giving so freely. I believe your overwhelming response is a great indication that we all should do more of that in our daily lives.
Thanks for the great reminder and for setting such a wonderful example.

Kevin,
Thank you so much for this. Even knowing that I received this because it went out to your list and not because you knew anything about me personally, it meant a lot.
I have been very isolated since my husband walked out on me last year, and between that whole mess, my longtime suicidal depression, and my financial struggles (only making four figures annually despite working full-time on my business), I haven’t been feeling very good about myself or about my contributions to the world. I don’t have a positive thinking habit, but I’m trying to change that.
I know I’m very good at what I do (I’m an artist), and I hope that after 15 years in business, I am on the verge of turning that into a decent living. I have been listening to a ton of free teleseminars and reading a lot of stuff about law of attraction, shifting perspective, business techniques, and so on, and I hope that my life transformation is just around the corner.
Thank you for being the first person to say something nice to me about myself in a week. Even though you don’t know me…I’ll take the compliment.
I hear a lot of good things about you, so pat yourself on the back too!

Thanks so much for BOTH emails…as usual, they arrived at just the right moments for me to slow down and notice, in the midst of all the flurry, what I HAD been and AM doing, and how it’s working.
It’s so easy to get caught up in looking ahead – thank you so much for the reminder to notice this moment right now, and what I’ve done to get here.
AND – back at you. Do YOU regularly stop to see where YOU have brought yourself to? I mean, look at you! Look at the amazing life you have created, and the relaxed way you are able to make such a difference in so many people’s lives.
As you advise us – I hope you’re doing the same…look at all these responses and know of the hundreds of people who are thinking these things and not writing them…and sit in THAT glow for awhile, buckwheat!

Kevin, perhaps the most important thing we can be doing at this point is finding the other “positive deviants” like us to work with so we change this dying reality on Earth into a LIVING reality of humanity-in-harmony-with -all-Life. Let’s start with our collective addiction and codependency on oil. Let’s reach out to all the positive deviants who want to work together on this for the fastest healing ever! Step by step we can do this, we can heal and survive our blind greed and pollution. But it takes people like you Kevin, You and your wonderful partner Lisa to lead the pack. I would like to talk with the 2 of you about a mastermind group process to address this issue, I would like to do a teleseminar interview with the 2 of you that would lead to the mastermind group. I want to aim this at the “green sustainable” niche and especially the biz people in it, So we empower these types of positive deviants and save the planet for all the children of the world. I enjoyed receiving both of the AMAZING and the AWESOME emails from you and appreciate that you too are as amazing and awesome as you recognize me to be – for we are one – all one – one radiant, magnificent, extraordinary, abundant and limitless light.
As we head into this weekend, take a few moments to relax yourself. You know how hard you have been working to move those who have a mission on to their next level of greatness. You realize that there are times when some of them just can’t quite make the leap wholeheartedly. Perhaps it even bothers YOU a little bit that not every single one of your talented and gifted clients isn’t fully realizing their deepest potential and ability to touch and impact others with their work. Do you feel it when they get OH SO CLOSE to complete embodiment of their greatness and yet some titchy little something seems to hold them back, blocking them, tying them in knots, keeping them from their best and brightest expression of who they really are?
You know Kevin there are 4 layers to a being – the physical, the emotional, the mental and the spiritual.
You can do the math and break things down for people at the physical level. You are certainly a master at that.
You can help people to open their minds to a whole new way of thinking – expanding their ability to perceive just how far they can go. You’ve got that one down pretty darn good too!
What happens when the emotions start to pop though? Do you have the skill, or the temperament to walk them through the fire? Do you want to?
What about when there’s something going on that’s totally irrational? An unnamed or untapped fear or block that just won’t let them move? A soul level piece of work that someone with specialized training can assist YOU with helping your client move through – easily, rapidly and efficiently – right there in the moment at one of your events – or separately in a private session.
You know how to play with the energy – you have lots of experience with that – you can create a vibe with your music, your words, the setting, the way you dress, the way you move on stage and off. But what happens when what you do “Pops” something for one of your clients? Are you an energy Master? Can you bring them through an EnergyShift?

I remember the email well. When I read it, I got such a confidence boost (even though I knew it went out to your list). But it caused me to reflect on how truly AMAZING I really am. I host a Coffee & Conversation on Monday evenings. The following Monday, I took a copy of your email to share with the group. Our topic was “purpose,” and I shared how purpose is not one thing we must find to do to serve; but that we are born with our gift to serve. The email moved those in attendance as well. I told them to imagine the words were being spoken to them personally. I even received requests for a copy of your email! It spoke to my heart and to my purpose. Thanks.

Hello Kevin,
Your question was a really great one and congratulations on the response. I wanted to share that for a long time I was telling my self I was off track and I really so much wanted to make a contribution to the world and nothing much seemed to be happening. I really wanted to make an A Grade contribution. I spent a fortune on personal development material because I thought that every body else knew the answers for me. I was deeply in debt but I knew that I could not give up. I lost my job and I made a commitment to myself that I would use the time I had each day to get in touch with who I really am and feel good. Do the things that make me feel good. After 2 weeks I had both the perfect job for me and a wonderful fun business that I could easily run along side my part time job. It is all an inside job. It just takes some time and reflection and everything you do leads you to where you need to go. Tell yourself you can do it and the world suddenly changes.

I was one of the recipients of the initial mailing, so I just want to reiterate what a sweet surprise it was to read your message. I think a lot of people, myself included, are too quick to beat themselves up and don’t take enough time to give themselves the credit they deserve. Thank you for keeping us aware of our inherent greatness. It is a valuable reinforcement. I am taking big steps to play my “A” game and do what I have been “called” to do. I agree that it is so important to acknowledge the important part we play in this world. I find I sometimes skip over my accomplishments. It is a great reminder to go back and honor what I have done.
So many people stay small and just survive, not knowing what is on the other side of their fear. The more we can step out into our greatness, the more we will hopefully inspire others to do so, and consequently, the better our world will be.
